For the people born and raised here in Tirunelveli , they would really miss the essence and the people , when they move to other cities . . People here are normally known for their strength and brutality , but we can easily identify the soft spot in every humans here . . Living in the city would be good , but when you get stuck in some weird places and you would think about your lovely hometown . .
Even for the tourists , they enjoy this city . . Unlike Chennai , auto drivers in Tirunelveli are rather helpful . . Every bus conductors would try to help us and guide . . This city has a lovely transport system . .The tourists can never find a South Indian dish better than Hotels like Jankiram , in any part of India . . With the exquisite taste and great customer service , bills never blows up in these hotels . .
And for education , Palayankottai , the twin city of Tirunelveli , is known as the Oxford of South India . . Many entrepreneurs , achievers in sports , academics ,music and arts have started their life here . .

In Tirunelveli we dont call many functions as a family function , as the whole neighbourhood take place in the function . . For marriages and stuff , people really help each other . . Every woman in the area would take care of other children or share some good dishes . . This is a good harmony existing here , where in cities like Chennai people living in sky high apartments , they dont even care about the next house being stolen or any other function or stuffs going around there . . For Diwali or Christmas or Ramzan , we share a lots of sweets and dishes around our place , so every festival becomes ours . . Where can one find this harmony?
As for tourism is concerned , Tirunelveli is worth a trip , from the legendary Nellaiappar temple to a morning bath in the ever flowing Thamirabharani river , a family trip to Papanasam or fun in waterfalls like Agasthiyar , Bhanathirtham . . . Even for a wildlife trip to Mundanthurai Tiger reserve or the Koonthankulam Bird Sanctuary . . No one could get the satisfaction of getting a bath in Courtallam falls compared to any Theme parks in the cities. .
From tasty Dosais from Jankiram's or the famous sweet dish Halwa from Tirunelveli town , a trip to the District science museum or a pleasant trip to Manjolai hill station , things get very excited in this place . . People living in Tirunelveli are very fortunate , so for people living in other cities dont miss a visit to this beautiful exotic town . . . .
